Hambone: <THANKS FOR POSTING ALL THOSE GREAT BANDS AND TUNES. I AM REALLY ENJOYING THEM. GOODMAN IS THE MAN.> No problem, Hambone. What a great collection this guy has! These records represent an entire era of music that's not nearly accessable as say, 33 1/3 LPs. I've never had a way to play 78s, and though perhaps a few of these were reissued on LP, most are a first run for my ears. Just the time this guy has invested in the recording, then saving to MP3 format is staggering. When I built the Hard Country automated format, I did a similar process as this, and I calculated about 7 1/2 min. per song is what it was taking me to get a song into system. If that's similar to this guy's time, then: 7.5 min. X 3300 songs = 24,750 min, divided by 60 min, = 412.5 hours, or a bit over 10 - 40 hour weeks of recording. Awesome. Glad you're enjoying it!
